Château Cap Saint George is located in the heart of the Saint-Georges-Saint-Emilion appellation. Its 19 hectare vineyard is composed of a south-facing clay and limestone terroir.

The two grape varieties cultivated by the estate, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, are harvested by hand before a traditional vatting, by gravity. The juices are fermented with a slow rise in temperature in order to extract the maximum amount of aromas while preserving the purity of the terroir.

Château Cap Saint George 2017 has a beautiful dark purple colour with slightly lighter reflections.
Its complex bouquet is built around a heart of small red and black fruits wrapped in earthy scents of forest soil.
On the palate, Château Cap Saint George 2017 is moderately fleshy. Slightly shy in the middle of the mouth, it reveals its fruit aromas after a few minutes of aeration. Its velvety tannic structure and woody touch perfectly support the juicy red and black plum notes that delicately blossom in the mouth until the finish is discreet and distinguished.
