Château Bouscaut has been a wine estate since the 17th century and was bought by the Lurton family in 1979. Since this acquisition, the property has been completely renovated and enlarged thanks to the purchase of neighbouring plots of land.
Château Bouscaut produces mainly red wines, but also, on a smaller scale, white wines. The vineyard extends over about fifty hectares of clay-limestone soil, eight of which are dedicated to the cultivation of white wine and benefit from the planting of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
After a manual harvest followed by a plot by plot vinification, Château Bouscaut white 2019 will be aged in oak barrels for about 12 months.
Made from a blend of 68% Sauvignon Blanc and 32% Semillon, Château Bouscaut 2019 white has a beautiful yellow colour with brilliant reflections.
On the nose, this Grand Cru Classé de Graves distils a lively and airy bouquet as complex as it is enticing, with crisp white fruits and citrus fruits wrapped in vegetal and spicy notes.
Moderately full-bodied on the attack, the white Château Bouscaut 2019 offers a straight, silky mid-palate, bursting with intense aromas of ripe fruits, apples, citrus, and exotic fruits, developing an energetic, spicy finish.
