The Château Cap de Mourlin vineyard is located in the heart of Saint Emilion and extends over 14 hectares of clay-limestone and sandy soil.
"Grand Cru Classé" le Château Cap de Mourlin has been modernised in recent years, notably through the acquisition of a new cellar and a brand new vat room.

Château Cap de Mourlin 2017 is a blend of three grape varieties (harvested from vines of 34 years of average age) dominated by Merlot (65%) as well as Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The juice was then matured in 50% one-year-old barrels for 15 to 18 months.

Château Cap de Mourlin 2017 has a dark garnet/purple colour and a bouquet of small red and black berries, such as redcurrants and cherries, intermixed with woody notes and a touch of spices.
Once in the mouth, Château Cap de Mourlin 2017 offers a medium body with a ripe and silky tannic structure. The juicy fruit aromas are very fresh and develop to a long, earthy finish.
