Even better than the 2006 vintage, the Champagne Bonnaire "Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc" Brut 2008 was marked by a particularly cold winter, a late spring but, luckily, followed by a perfect summer!
The result was a small harvest of grapes ripened to perfection which, once in the expert hands of the Bonnaire House, produced an exceptional 2008 vintage!

Made from 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru, harvested in Cramant (Côte des Blanc) and slightly dosed at 8g/l, Champagne Bonnaire "Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs" 2008 is dressed in a warm robe with golden highlights.
Mineral, its nose is full of candied buttered fruits.
On the palate, brioche, toast and a hint of toasted fines are mixed together.
The finish, rather long, reveals elegant notes of coffee.

Champagne Bonnaire "Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc" 2008 will really appreciate served at around 12°C on a seafood dish like a scallops risotto.
