The 2014 Blason de l'Evangile is the second wine of the excellent Château l'Evangile. It is produced from a 100% Merlot blend harvested on the estate's vineyards, in the heart of the Pomerol appellation.

On the nose, the Blason de l'Evangile 2014 reveals impressive purity and accessible style. It offers a fruity bouquet full of raspberry and blueberry scents as well as a hint of incense that unfolds with aeration.
On the palate, the Blason de l'Evangile 2014 offers a velvety texture with a slightly toasted attack.
Medium-bodied, with finely worked acidity, black fruit and cherry aromas that evolve and invade the palate on a long, lively finish.

The Blason de l'Evangile 2014 is a great success of the vintage. It will delight lovers of great Pomerol wines. It is best served with red meat or poultry dishes.
