Château Lynch Bages is produced in the heart of Pauillac on a terroir of Garonnaise gravel.
The main grape variety used in its composition is Cabernet Sauvignon (75%) and two other minority varieties, Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).

The Château Lynch Bages 2006 presents a splendid garnet/popular, dense and dark red robe.
On the nose, it distils noble and fruity aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry and cedar, subtly spiced with hints of smoke, graphite and menthol.
Full-bodied on the palate, it reveals fine and velvety tannins, lots of red and black fruits, enhanced by a vanilla note and subtly spiced with a surprisingly intense finish, as well as its length and persistence.
