The G de Château Guiraud is the second wine of Château Guiraud, the renowned 1er Grand Cru classé de Sauternes.

Sharing the same terroir as its elder, composed of sandy-clayey gravel, G de Guiraud is produced from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon (about 50% each). The vineyard and the vines are worked with respect for tradition and the environment, with regular ploughing of the soil and without the use of chemical compounds.

In 2011, Château Guiraud was the first Grand Cru Classé to obtain Organic Agriculture certification. Today, the 2019 vintage is the eighth to receive this certification!

After a manual harvest, the G of Château Guiraud 2019 was vinified in stainless steel barrels and vats before maturing in barrels for about 7 months.
In the glass, it has a beautiful golden colour with luminous reflections and distils a bouquet that is as charming as it is fruity, with notes of yellow and white fruits tinged with hints of ripe and tart citrus fruits.
On the palate, the G of Château Guiraud 2019 offers a rich, full and balanced mouthfeel with an aromatic structure reminiscent of the finest Sauternes.
