Located in the north of the Médoc appellation, Clos Manou is beginning to build a solid reputation. Starting from almost nothing, Françoise and Stéphane Dief launched in 1998 a confidential production of 600 bottles from grapes harvested on their 12 ares estate.
Today, the Clos Manou vineyard covers an area of 19 hectares of vines worked in accordance with traditional methods while respecting the soil and biodiversity.

Clos Manou 2017 is a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (30%), complemented by Cabernet Francand Petit Verdot. The 18 month ageing period was carried out in 70% new barrels and in concrete eggs.

In the glass, Clos Manou 2017 is adorned with a beautiful dark purple colour on the edges, pulling towards the garnet.
It has a charming bouquet of small ripe red and black berries coated in earthy and spicy notes as well as a vegetal touch of dried herbs.
On the palate, Clos Manou 2017 reveals a medium-bodied attack. The aromas of juicy red and black fruits bring a great freshness that unfolds in the middle of the mouth. The tannic structure, velvety and finely worked, supports the blend until the finish, a little short but very distinguished.
