Clos Floridène is located in the heart of the Graves appellation, close to the renowned estates of Sauternes. While it is geographically close to properties producing sweet wines, Clos Floridène produces a dry white wine (as well as a red wine).

Its vineyard covers an area of 40 hectares, 22.7 hectares of which are devoted to the cultivation of white grape varieties such as Semillon (56%), Sauvignon Blanc (43%) and Muscadelle (1%). The vines are planted on a soil of clayey sands and iron drosses resting on a calcareous subsoil that strongly limits water constraints during periods of drought.
The vines have an average age of 30 years and are grown in the traditional way, without the addition of herbicides.

Clos Floridène 2017 white has a magnificent pale yellow colour with golden reflections. It distills a lively and charming bouquet full of scents of various citrus fruits mixed with mineral notes reminiscent of its limestone soil.
On the palate, Clos Floridène 2017 white offers a moderately full-bodied attack, bursting with crisp, juicy yellow and white fruits and ripe citrus fruits that bring incredible freshness to the blend, completing a long mineral finish.
