Only a few wines are capable of making wine lovers all over the world dream. With an annual production of about 30000 bottles, Petrus wines are so rare that the dream is most often the only option.

Located in the heart of the Pomerol appellation, the Petrus vineyard extends over an area of 11.4 hectares (from Libourne to Saint Emilion). The soil of the vineyard is made up of deep clays very rich in iron (ideal conditions for the culture of Merlot). It is by the way this variety which represents 100% of the vine stock of the domain (with vines of 40 years of age on average).

Made from a blend of 100% Merlot, the Petrus 2017 presents a dark purple and intense color with reflections drawing on garnet.
In the glass, it reveals sublime and complex aromas of candied fruits, plums, blueberries and cherries as well as fragrances of various flowers such as violets or lilac. After a few minutes, the scents of liquorice and exotic spices appear.
Medium-bodied on the palate, the Petrus 2017 offers incredible richness. Its tannic, powerful and granular structure supports the multiple layers of ripe fruits that evolve and stretch in the mouth, leaving spicy notes emerge on an elegant, refined and seemingly infinitely long finish.
