The 1984 vintage is sadly reputed to have been a bad one... But not for everyone, fortunately.
Indeed, despite very difficult conditions, Petrus 1984 turned out to be a great success!

Made from a 100% Merlot blend, harvested in the heart of the Pomerol appellation, Petrus 1984 has a very dense red and slightly brownish colour.
On the nose, it distils aromas of candied red and black berries mixed with cigar tobacco, dried herbs and woody touches.
On the palate, Petrus 1984 reveals an incredible conception and an extraordinary power, with very melted tannins and a persistence on the palate.
