Petrus 1970 is the result of a 100% Merlot blend harvested in the heart of the Pomerol appellation.
Quite closed and reserved at the beginning of its life, Petrus 1970 has grown considerably to become a blockbuster!

Its dark and intense garnet/ruby colour is tempted of amber on the edges.
On the nose, the 1970 vintage of the most famous of the Pomerols reveals a deeply intense bouquet of candied black fruits, coffee and blond tobacco, finely coated in warm spicy aromas.
In the mouth, Petrus 1970 is more than massive! It shows considerable power, a fleshy, thick and unveiled body. The black fruits blend into finely worked tannins until the finish, powerful, thick and persistent.
