About Château Lafite Rothschild 1970
Bottle (75cl)

The Château Lafite Rothschild 1970 is often located on the podium of the great wines of the Pauillac appellation and is no exception to the rule.
Composed of a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir, this 1970 vintage from Lafite Rothschild is adorned with a magnificent rather pale and subtly ambery colour on the edges.

On the first nose, one finds the woody scents of cedar characteristic of the estate, accompanied by red and black fruits, as well as warm spices. As usual with Château Lafite Rothschild, this is an exceptional nose!
On the palate, this 1970 Lafite Rothschild offers crystal-clear purity combined with a beautiful balance. It is light in the mouth but has a notable persistence.

Food and wine pairing

Lamb - Veal - Soft and fine game (deer, quail)
