Château La Mission Haut Brion 2016 is the product of a blend of 57.5% Merlot and 42.5% Cabernet Sauvignon harvested over a very long period of almost 1 month (from 19/09 to 14/10) to give each bunch time to reach perfect ripeness.

The 2016 vintage of La Mission Haut Brion has a superb intense garnet red colour with warm ruby highlights.
Mission 2016 opens with an incredibly dense and concentrated bouquet. It offers a beautiful complexity by distilling a layer of minerality interspersed with aromas of ripe black fruit and an extraordinary freshness!
On the palate, it is medium-bodied, revealing a carpet of supple and airy tannins. After a sweet and generous attack, Château La Mission Haut Brion 2016 gradually rises in power in the middle of the mouth, revealing layer after layer its aromas of black fruits and its supple and finely worked tannins until revealing a refined, sophisticated and very elegant finish.

The 2016 vintage of La Mission Haut Brion has this little "something" that the other Mission Haut Brion don't have and that makes it a special wine!
