Château Clinet is an old estate with an exceptional reputation that is no longer to be made either in France or in the rest of the world. This estate is renowned for its consistent quality throughout the vintages and for being one of the best Pomerol on the market.
Château Clinet 2010 is composed of a blend of Merlot (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon (12%) and Cabernet Franc (3%).
It presents itself in a beautiful dark purple colour with ruby tints.
On the nose, Château Clinet 2010 opens with an abundance of sun-kissed black fruits and a slightly burnt woody touch that gives it an unmistakable cachet.
The 2010 Clinet vintage offers a full-bodied and very tannic mouthfeel. It is an avalanche of dark fruits covered with melted chocolate and nougat and roasted notes that arrive in a second time.
Its strong tannins and powerful tannins make it a wine with great ageing potential. It will easily spend years in the cellar without taking a wrinkle, quite the contrary!
John Euvrard (Best Sommelier of France 2007) says about the Château Clinet 2010:
"Château Clinet is one of the largest Pomerol. The vines are located in the most qualitative zone for the king grape variety of the region: Merlot. We invite you to discover all the finesse and generosity of Clinet's wines".
