1986 Château Cheval Blanc is a First Growth of the Saint Emilion appellation composed of a typical blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot.

Almost 30 years old, it shows a very beautiful ruby colour with no particular sign of ageing.
The nose of 1986 Château Cheval Blanc has something wild. It reveals a great aromatic intensity, full of black fruits, spices, leather and mushrooms.
On the palate, 1986 Château Cheval Blanc is medium-bodied, with a beautiful tannic structure and well judged acidity. The aromas present on the nose are admirably transcribed in the mouth, the leather and truffles coat the black fruits and line the palate to conclude on a long and persistent finish, typically Cheval Blanc.
