Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin's Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2018 is a 100% Chardonnay blend. The vines, around 40 years old, are grown on a plot of just under 1.5 hectares with a west-south-west exposure and composed of three types of soil: limestone and stony soils and deep clay soils separated by a band of blue clay.

These soils are worked in accordance with the principles of sustainable viticulture and maintained by regular ploughing.

After manual harvesting and vinification in stainless steel vats and oak barrels, the Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin 2018 was aged for 8 to 10 months after blending.

Qualified as "Lord of the Grands Crus" by the estate, the Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin 2018 is distinguished by its incredible power as well as its straight and flawless structure.
With a superb pale yellow colour, it reveals a rich and complex bouquet loaded with notes of white fruits with juicy stones as well as elegant touches of iodine and smoke.
