Taittinger's Cuvée Comtes de Champagne is only produced in the best vintages, when the harvest reaches the House's highest standards.

Taittinger Comtes de Champagne rosé 2004 is built around a blend of 70% Pinot Noir (from the Montagne de Reims) and 30% Chardonnay (from the Côte des Blancs). 12% Pinot Noir (from Bouzy) vinified in red are then added to the blend to give it its pink hue and characteristic taste.

In the glass, Champagne Taittinger Comtes de Champagne rosé 2004 has a magnificent coppery colour with ruby reflections and distils a rich and ample bouquet with fruity scents of spicy red plums mixed with gourmet notes of pastry and toasted brioche.
On the palate, the 2004 Taittinger Comtes de Champagne rosé offers a moderately full-bodied attack. Vinous and mineral, it unfolds in the mid-palate on well-defined fruits supported by a fine and unctuous foam as well as an incredible chalky structure, to conclude on a long and precise finish.
The 2004 vintage of the Cuvée Comtes de Champagne rosé is a real masterpiece made for long ageing. It should enter its ideal tasting range in 2017 and should easily continue to mature until 2035.
