Made exclusively from Chardonnay, 2016 Puligny Montrachet Clos de la Garenne from Domaine Paul Pernot & Fils has a beautiful light yellow colour with golden highlights.
Relatively shy on the first nose, it opens and develops in the glass, releasing a bouquet of white fruits and stone fruits rolled up in woody oak barrel notes.
Fresh and well balanced, Puligny Montrachet Clos de la Garenne Domaine Paul Pernot & Fils 2016 shows great power in the mouth where it develops a wide range of flavours: white fruit aromas (dominated by peach) are accompanied by notes of brioche, butter and honey until leaving a sweet and deliciously persistent finish.
