The 1522 cuvee symbolizes the heritage of the Philipponnat family's ancestors. Indeed, it was in 1522 that the Philipponnat settled in the village of Ay, in Champagne. Whether in their white or rosé versions, the 1522 cuvees are champagnes of nuances, which base their style on balance and delicacy rather than on strong aromatic power.

Produced from a blend of 55% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier (dosed at 4g/l), Champagne Philipponnat 1522 Rosé 2006 is dressed in a superb intense salmon colour with orange reflections crossed by abundant and fine bubbles.
On the nose, the Champagne Philipponnat 1522 Rosé 2006 distills a charming and fruity bouquet full of wild strawberry and raspberry notes.
On the palate, the Champagne Philipponnat 1522 Rosé 2006 shows an impressive and delicate aromatic richness, as well as a silky texture thanks to its thick and velvety foam. It offers a nuanced and complex mouth of crisp red fruits coated with toasted notes and an elegant touch of minerality.
