Made from 100% Merlot blends harvested in the heart of the Pomerol AOC, the 1955 Petrus is dressed in a beautiful deep ruby red colour with orange highlights.

This wonderful 1955 vintage offers a bouquet full of red berry scents, dried flowers and warm, sweet spices.
On the palate, Petrus 1955 offers a sweet and ample attack. The mid-palate is superbly complex and reveals aromas of ripe red and black berries, fresh mushrooms, white truffles, cocoa and a subtle touch of mocha. Petrus 1955 possesses a silky, full mouthfeel thanks to abundant and finely worked tannins that line the cheeks and tongue, until the finish, which proves to be long and persistent.
