The 15 hectares of Château Dalem's vineyard are located in Saillans, in the heart of the Fronsac appellation, just in front of the best estates of Pomerol and Saint-Emilion. Facing due south on clay-limestone slopes (with a subsoil of Fronsac molasses), the vineyard is cultivated in a parcellar and rational way, respecting the soils and biodiversity.

Château Dalem 2018 is produced from a blend dominated by Merlot (90%) and completed by Cabernet Franc (10%).
In the glass, it shows a lovely dark purple colour with ruby tints.
Shy on the first nose, Château Dalem 2018 opens after a few seconds of agitation, revealing a flattering bouquet loaded with small red and black berries coated in buttered scents and a subtle vegetal touch.
On the palate, Château Dalem 2018 offers a powerful and full-bodied attack. It is an avalanche of ripe and juicy black fruits that line the palate until red fruit notes emerge in the middle of the mouth. These fruity aromas are supported by a finely crafted, straight and satiny tannic line, which gives way to an opulent and fresh finish.
