The 2006 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot from Domaine François Raveneau is a 100% Chardonnay blend.
It has a very beautiful, bright, light yellow colour with a satin texture.
On the nose, the Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot Domaine François Raveneau 2006 is rather shy. After a few minutes of aeration, citrus aromas appear followed by elegant candied notes.
On the palate, Raveneau's 2006 Chablis Blanchot is opulent, complex and impressively concentrated. It offers a soft and velvety mouth full of aromas of white and yellow fruits, apples, apricots, nuts, spices as well as incredible mineral notes. The layers of fruit unfold in the mouth to conclude on a soft and extravagant finish of infinite persistence.
