Owned by the Perrin Family, the 1999 Coudoulet de Beaucastel is produced in the Côtes du Rhône from a blend of 30% Mourvèdre, 30% Syrah, 20% Grenache and 20% Cinsault with relatively low yields.

The 1999 Coudoulet de Beaucastel has a red colour with a slightly brown edge.
On the nose, it reveals a tertiary bouquet, dominated by leather and tobacco, with floral notes of rose petals, as well as a touch of honey.
On the palate, the 1999 Coudoulet de Beaucastel is round and moderately fleshy with silky tannins, superb aromatic structure and refreshing acidity. It offers characteristic aromas of roasted meat mixed with black fruits and liquorice, and subtly spiced notes to finish on a rich and layered finish.

1999 Coudoulet de Beaucastel is quite closed at the opening. It is therefore recommended to let it open between 30 and 60 minutes before tasting.
