Produced from a bi-varietal blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, Côte Rôtie Domaine Guigal La Landonne 1979 is still surprisingly young.
It has a beautiful dark purple ruby colour with no sign of ageing.
On the nose, it releases distinguished and refined aromas, typical of the Côte Rôtie, with red and black berries, nuts, spices, meat and peppery spices.
Full-bodied and powerful, the Côte Rôtie Domaine Guigal La Landonne 1979 seems more compact and tight than its predecessors. It offers a beautiful acidity and an exceptional concentration. Although not very complex, the 1979 Landonne is very sweet, with a silky texture, full of ripe fruit and glycerin.

Côte Rôtie Domaine Guigal La Landonne 1979 is ready to be enjoyed now, however, it can still spend a few years in the cellar without any problem.
