  • Region / Bordeaux
  • AOC / Pessac Leognan / Graves

«Beautiful bright gold color. Honeyed nose, slightly fat, quite intense and very straight, mineral and white fruit notes.
The palate presented a nice length with fat, acidity, touches of citrus, and very pleasant lemony side.
The finish is long and beautiful refreshing.»

Château Latour 1970

  • Region / Bordeaux
  • AOC / Pauillac
  • Color / Rouge

«The color is dark and supported well, no sign of evolution.
The nose is very intense and exuberant of black fruits, black cherries and notes of smoke.
The mouth is powerful, with still very present tannins. After 20/30 minutes in decanter the wine opens and gives a big intensity and a complexity to this wine. When you don’t think that this wine is already more than 40 years old, it is really impressive. It is young and powerful in nose and in mouth. The length of this wine is of longer than one minute and offers aromas of mature fruits, and a magnificent final.
A very great wine which will develop in decades to come.»

Mas de Daumas Gassac 2007

  • Region / Languedoc
  • Color / Rouge

«The color is very steady and intense ruby.
The nose is very pleasant, rather intense with light notes of wood.
The mouth shows low acidity considering its age and plenty aromas of red and black berries. Tannins are not totally melted and the mouth is powerful but also nicely delicate.
This great wine of Languedoc can wait some years with no problem at all, in your cellar before beginning to taste it.»

Champagne Gosset 1967

  • Region / Champagne
  • Color / White

«Tasted in 2010 : Colour gilded, with a nice brilliance and not much bubbles in the glass. The nose is instantly impressive and intense with roasted and grilled aromas. They also smell some butter and some fresh hazelnut, in this champagne, which is superb.
In mouth, it proves to be ample and well structured, the mouth is powerful and aromas of brioche bread, butter and asphalt blend form a very rich and full bodied champagne.
A superb discovery, which turns on notes of caramel and honey.»

Château La Mission Haut Brion 2003

  • Region / Bordeaux
  • Aoc / Pessac Leognan / Graves
  • Color / Rouge

«The vineyard owes its name to a congregation which they called "preachers de la Mission" and founded in 17th century.
Mission was also the wine of predilection of Richelieu, which liked itself saying: « If God forbade to drink, would he have made this so good wine? ».
The nose remains still closed and develops aromas of Kirsch/cherry, cedar, black fruits and smoke.
The mouth is intense and tannins is well present, the alcohol (13 °) don't perturb the final which is powerful and show a nice length.»

Château Suduiraut 1945

  • Region / Bordeaux
  • Aoc / Sauternes
  • Color / White

«Beautiful amber, steady and deep color.
Nose a little bit closed at opening, which then develops notes of confits and salted butter caramel.
After a little opening, the wine begins to show itself more complex and intense in mouth, with a very interesting length and a point of acidity.
A big sauternes, which did not arrive at its best level and should develop beautifully in the future !»
