About Pétrus 1960
Bottle (75cl)

Petrus is certainly the most famous of Pomerol and Bordeaux wines, if not of the world. It is made from a blend of 100% Merlot, and makes all lovers of great wines revere.

The 1960 vintage of Petrus has a dark purple colour, slightly browned on the edges of the glass.
The bouquet of the 1960 Petrus is powerful and very well defined: black berries and plums coated in cocoa and caramel with a wet straw bun.
On the palate, this 1960 Petrus offers a balanced attack. The mid-palate is soft with silky tannins, covering the cheeks and tongue. The fruity aromas are still abundant and increase in power until the long and persistent finish.

Once again, Petrus offers us a work of art in the bottle!
