Château de Fargues is a property which, like Yquem, has made its place on the podium of the best wines of the Sauternes appellation.

Produced from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, Château de Fargues 1970 has a magnificent medium dark amber colour with copper highlights.
On the nose, Château de Fargues 1970 distills an ample and mature bouquet of yellow and white fruits, peaches, apricots, as well as notes of fresh citrus fruits, hazelnuts and a delicious touch of sweet honey.
In the mouth, Château de Fargues 1970 offers remarkable weight and a silky texture. Rich and ample, it offers a well balanced acidity. Gorged with ripe fruit, Château de Fargues 1970 covers the palate, with intense aromas of yellow and white fruit accompanied by candied notes, figs and prunes to finish on a long and persistent finish, full of mature fruit and spices. Made for long ageing, the Château de Fargues 1970 is unbeatable. It is ready for tasting but will keep for many years in the cellar, and may reveal even better surprises!
