The Forts de Latour is the second wine of Château Latour, the famous First Growth of Pauillac . It is made up of a blend of two grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The Forts de Latour 1993 is dressed in a beautiful ruby colour and reveals a rich nose, full of ripe and candied fruits, interspersed with notes of spices and earth.
On the palate, the 1993 vintage of Forts de Latour is soft and medium-bodied, with a good length in the mouth. It offers a full-bodied and precocious mouth, with abundant fruit, already very evolved and easily accessible.

Les Forts de Latour 1993 is a good introduction to the first wines of Château Latour, at a lower cost.
