The Champagne Larmandier Bernier Terre de Vertus Blanc de Blancs follows a simple rule, a single terroir, a single year, for this great mono-cru Champagne, Pierre and Sophie Larmandier use only Chardonnays from the place called "Les Barillers", in the heart of Vertus.
It is this very particular, delicate, salty and very complex terroir that gives Champagne Larmandier Bernier Terre de Vertus 1er cru non dosé its incomparable style.

With a pale colour and silvery tints, the Terre de Vertus 2010 vintage has an elegant and direct nose of white fruit, apples and pears, as well as spicy dried fruit. Very balanced on the palate, with its creamy texture, it distils notes of white fruits and citrus fruit carried by a sweet mineral freshness.

Airy and smooth, it finishes on a superb finish, both iodized and peppery. As usual with the Champagnes du Domaine Larmandier Bernier, the Terre de Vertus is not dosed in order to respect the purity of the terroir.
