The Champagne Jacquesson "Dizy Corne Bautray" Extra Brut 2009 is 100% Chardonnay from a one hectare plot of land located in a place called Corne Bautray. This clayey-silt and stony parcel, low in limestone, lies on a subsoil of deep Campanian chalk and benefits from a South-West orientation, giving the vines an ideal exposure for harvesting at full maturity.

Champagne Jacquesson "Dizy Corne Bautray" 2009 benefited from a 9-month vinification in oak tuns. It is an exceptional cuvée that did not require any dosage.

In the glass, Champagne Jacquesson "Dizy Corne Bautray" Extra Brut 2009 shows a beautiful golden colour with brilliant reflections and a soft and lively effervescence.
From the very first nose, it opens with complex notes of crisp yellow and white fruits wrapped in honey and spring flowers, as well as a subtle hint of nuts.
On the palate, the 2009 Dizy Corne Bautray offers a vinous, moderately full-bodied attack. Round and intense, it offers a balanced structure. The deep and well defined fruity aromas develop and grow on the palate, supported by a soft and caressing foam, to give way to an elegant finish tinged with a beautiful minerality.

This exceptional cuvée, the Champagne Jacquesson "Dizy Corne Bautray" Extra Brut 2009, has just reached its peak of ideal maturity and will remain there at least until 2039.
