This cuvée 2012 of Grandes Places is almost confidential, only 200 cases have been produced. Made from a 100% Syrah blend, Côte Rôtie Les Grandes Places from Domaine Pichat aged in new oak barrels for 24 months.

On the nose, the Pichat Les Grandes Places 2012 displays gourmet aromas of red and black berries such as raspberry, blackberry and blackcurrant, coated with notes of spring flowers, vanilla, chocolate and hot spices.
On the palate, Les Grandes Places 2012 from Domaine Pichat shows a full-bodied richness and a supple and silky texture. The tannins are fine, the acidity is well balanced and the red and black fruits are already perfectly integrated into the blend.
The oak, which is still very present, will require many more years in the cellar to fade.

The Côte Rôtie Domaine Pichat Les Grandes Places 2012 is already exceptional despite its youth, let's bet that it will prove to be monstrous after ten years in the cellar!
