The Château Mouton Rothschild is perhaps the most famous of Pauillac's First Growths, notably for its exceptional tasting qualities, its incredible ageing potential or its labels illustrated by the greatest artists.

Composed of a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir, Château Mouton Rothschild 1971 shows itself in an intense dark garnet colour, slightly amber on the edges.
From the very first nose, Mouton Rothschild 1971 gives off tertiary aromas of tobacco, cedar and dried herbs, as well as notes of blackcurrant and a mineral touch.
On the palate, Château Mouton Rothschild 1971 is round and tasty. Fresh and well-balanced with silky aromas of blackcurrant, blueberries, plums and redcurrants and ripe tannins, Mouton Rothschild's 1971 vintage swept through the mouth until a harmonious finish.
