Château Gruaud Larose 1990, famous Second Growth of the Saint Julien appellation, is a complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Gruaud Larose 1990 shows a nice deep ruby red colour.
It reveals scents of ripe black fruits, blackcurrants, cherries, liquorice, earth and Provençal herbs that literally spring out of the glass.
Château Gruaud Larose 1990 is a wine of extraordinary fullness with fabulous concentration, great power and silky texture. Thick and particularly dense, it offers a full-bodied and opulent mouthfeel of sweet berries and blackcurrants interspersed with smoke, leather, charcoal, mellow pepper and smoke notes.

Year after year, Château Gruaud Larose 1990 matures and becomes more complex. It is now ready for tasting, but can be kept for many more years in the cellar, where it will certainly gain in refinement and complexity. A must have!
