Château Clinet has a vineyard covering about ten hectares in the heart of the Pomerol terroir. The estate has been able to preserve traditional and well-reasoned cultivation methods, the soils are ploughed on horseback.

The 2016 vintage of Château Clinet is produced from a blend of Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) harvested from vines of 40 years old average age with a yield of about 49 hectoliters per hectare. The juices are matured in oak barrels (70% of which are new).

The Château Clinet 2016 is dressed in a magnificent deep and intense red colour with ruby tints.
On the nose, it exhibits a sophisticated and complex bouquet of black fruits, black cherries and morello cherries, mixed with marine and iodine scents and accompanied by a toasted touch.
On the palate, Client 2016 is medium-bodied, complex and concentrated. It releases aromas of red and black fruits that subtly invade the mouth with peppery notes, enhanced by a discreet tannic structure.
Château Clinet 2016 blossoms in the mouth with aplomb, combining fruity freshness and mineral notes to reveal a salty and exquisite finish.
