About Château Beychevelle 1978
Bottle (75cl)

Château Beychevelle is a Fourh Growth of the Saint Julien appellation. It is produced from a complex blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

Château Beychevelle 1978 shows a lovely ruby red robe with greyish reflections, very slightly amber in edge.
At the opening it distils an elegant bouquet of ripe berries, earth and spices as well as woody and grilled notes.
On the palate, Château Beychevelle 1978 offers a sweet and fruity attack. Round and tasty, it reveals, in successive waves, aromas of ripe fruit followed by more tertiary aromas, finally returning to the fruity aromas of the beginning.

Château Beychevelle 1978 stands out as a great success of the estate, ready to drink or to keep for a few years in the cellar.
