Château Carbonnieux is one of the stars of the Pessac Léognan appellation. This Cru Classé de Graves is one of the great wines of France recognised throughout the world.

Château Carbonnieux 1961 has a beautiful dark garnet colour, slightly lightened on the edge of the glass.
On the nose, it reveals a charming bouquet filled with tertiary notes, leather and violets as well as touches of wet undergrowth.
In the mouth, Château Carbonnieux 1961 offers a fantastic experience. It envelops the palate with a silky texture full of mature aromas of red fruits and melted tannins but still quite powerful and ends on a fruity finish and a good persistence.
